<abstract><p>This study addresses the Orthodox vision of the purpose of human existence and its destiny, by examining the thought of Theodoretus of Cyrrhus. The research traces how Greek teleological philosophy was adapted and transformed within early Christian Orthodox theology, particularly in Theodoretus&apos;s anthropological writings.</p></abstract>
